Women of the Word Summer Studies

beginning in June

Women of the Word presents 3 opportunities for weekly study and fellowship this summer! Sign up in the church lobby if you would like to attend for any of these options:

1. The Friendships of Women
Tuesdays (June 13 – July 25)
6:30 – 8:30pm
at North Campus
Dig into deeply biblical, thought-provoking truths about friendship. Learn to understand friendship, be on guard for its perils, become prepared for its challenges, and be recipients of its blessings. Read the book by Dee Brestin and answer the questions on each chapter: the perfect book-club style study for summer, great for bonding with your sisters in Christ. Purchase your own book The Friendships of Women by Dee Brestin (revised and updated version) before the study begins.

2. Lord, Heal My Hurts
Tuesdays (June 6 – August 29)
6:30 – 8:30pm
at North Campus
Discover how God can turn your sorrow into joy. Let author Kay Arthur guide you through the Scriptures so you can be set free from past hurts by the power of God. This powerful, insightful study will minister to you in deeply restorative ways. This study requires a high commitment level and is limited to 10 ladies. Purchase your workbook the first night of class for $10.

3. Face to Face with Women of the Bible
Thursdays (June 15 – July 27)
6:30 -8:30pm
at South Campus
Take a journey through the Old and New Testaments and look at the lives of women found there. In the process you will be personally challenged to look at each one face to face, considering her strengths and weaknesses, her trials and triumphs, and make personal application along the way. Study sheets written by Harvest Ministries will be provided.
