Nuts for Jesus

nutsforjesusCome join Al the Almond, Hazel the Hazelnut, Wally the Walnut and PJ the Peanut as they learn what it means to be Nuts for Jesus! Every Sunday the Nuts gang and our Children’s Worship Team start off our morning children’s ministry program by leading our kids in worship and praise. Then Al, Hazel, Wally, P.J and our “Nuts” Drama Team perform a skit that presents the weekly Bible lesson in a way that captures the minds (and imaginations) of the children. The morning concludes with the children returning to their classrooms for instruction and activities that reinforce the weekly lesson.

Parents are welcome to come and take in the fun any time. But if you’d rather be in “big church” we’d like to introduce you to each of the Nuts! Al is the brainy one of the bunch, always sharing biblical facts and giving practical advice. Hazel likes to be in control and tends to get a little bossy! Wally is always looking for a good time – especially if it involves sports or eating. PJ is the youngest of the bunch and is often shy and very sweet. The Nuts live in Nutville, USA, where they go to school together, play together, help each other out, and even make mistakes and get into trouble like any other kid. The one thing that makes them best friends is that they all love Jesus and want to live for Him.
