Home Fellowships

“Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are all parts of his one body… And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others.” Romans 12:4-5

The Bible declares that Christians are all part of Christ’s body (the church) and that each believer has a special function which contributes to the overall purpose of the church. Yet this personal calling can only be fully realized as one lives in dependence upon God and in interdependent relationships with other believers. In other words, we need God and we need each other to grow in our faith and to become contributing members of Christ’s church! And we believe participation in a home fellowship truly enhances the possibility of experiencing these important dynamics in our Christian lives.

The purpose of the Home Fellowship Ministry at CCGV is to provide people with an opportunity to experience Biblical fellowship by…

  • PARTICIPATING in corporate prayer and worship
  • INTERACTING with the Bible through group discussion plan
  • DEVELOPING relationships that are centered around mutual faith in Jesus Christ
  • EXPRESSING God’s love to others within the group, the church, and the community
