women’s ministry faq’s

Q: How do I get involved in the Women’s Ministry?
A: Sign up and come to the Women of the Word Bible Study! You will get to know other women through discussing God’s Word, praying for one another, and having occasional luncheons together. Another way is to sign up to help with an upcoming event. It’s a great way to get to know people, get involved, and we need you! Sign-ups for helping at women’s events are announced frequently.

Q: What happens at Women of the Word?
A: We have coffee, worship, a brief teaching on the passage or subject for the week, and conclude with a small group time where we discuss our weekly Bible lesson and pray for one another. Childcare is provided (morning session only). Groups occasionally have lunch together after the study.

Q: How do you plan your ministry events?
A: We have a Women’s Ministry Team (comprised of ladies from our church) that meets regularly to prayerfully seek God’s will for our ministry activities and events.

Q: How can I give my input or suggestions?
A: If you have ideas on how to reach the women in our community or suggestions for upcoming events, please feel free to email your suggestions/ideas to womensminstry@crossroadslive.com .

Q: What do you have available for Single Women?
A: Our Single Women’s Fellowship plans regular monthly meetings and activities. For more information contact Cindy Shaver at 530.346.9724.
