DESCRIPTION:Join us as we usher in the Christmas season for our first annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. \nThis is a free community wide event meant to gather people together to celebrate the Christmas season. There will be free hot cocoa\, kettle corn\, crafts\, cookies\, and of course\, Christmas carols. DESCRIPTION:You can help a family in need by providing a holiday meal basket! \nEach basket should contain the items listed below (which will also be sent to you in a confirmation message). Feel free to include extras and embellish your basket. Get creative! Just make sure all additional items are non-perishable and do not require refrigeration. Here are some ideas: tea towels\, candles\, new whisks or kitchen utensils\, a personal card with a note\, etc. \nBaskets should be sufficient to feed a family of 5-6 people. \nThanksgiving Baskets\nThanksgiving baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday\, November 12. \nChristmas Baskets\nChristmas baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday\, December 17. \nShopping List \n\nA $40+ gift card/certificate from a local grocery store to purchase a turkey\, ham\, or fresh vegetables\nFoil roasting pan\nSeasoned stuffing mix\nTwo cans of chicken broth\nOnions and celery\nMashed potatoes or canned sweet potatoes\nGravy mix\nTwo canned vegetables\nTwo cans of cranberry sauce\nOlives or pickles\nDinner rolls\nJell-O\nCanned fruit\nPie or pie crust and filling\n\nWe highly recommend making this a fun basket. You are welcome to decorate them or add other non-perishable items. Feel free to get creative!

We have plenty of areas that need volunteers like yourself to make this evening run smoothly. We have pre-\, during\, and post-event volunteer opportunities. Sign up to lend a hand in one or more of the following areas: \nPre-Event: \n\nDecorating\nPrepping materials at home\nBake refreshments (cookies\, cupcakes\, brownies\, etc.)\nProviding a cake for the cake walk\nJoin a prep day (decorating\, sanding/painting booths\, etc.)\nAssist with booth assembly (requires heavy lifting)\n\nDuring Event: (90-minute shifts) \n\nGreeter\nParking/security (both men and women)\nServe refreshments\nBounce house attendant\nGame booth workers\nTreat Street\nVolunteer to work both shifts in any position for the whole event\n\nAfter Event: \n\nAssist with tear-down/clean up\nAssist with campus reset\n\n  \nCostumes are not required\, but definitely encouraged! \nWant to know more about the event before volunteering? DESCRIPTION:Join us for our yearly Family Sunday! \nFamily Sunday is one outdoor service with baptisms followed by a BBQ! It is a great time to meet and fellowship with people who may attend a different service than you\, as well as a time of celebration by coming alongside those choosing to be baptized. \nSunday\, August 27th at 10:30 am at our upper lawn \nHere are some fun and semi-important piece of information: \n\nThere will not be an 8:30 am service. This is a combined service for our entire North Campus family. If you do happen to show up at 8:30 you may get put to work helping set-up!\nThere will be no childcare or kids ministry classes. We want the whole family to gather together this Sunday! (And don’t worry about your kids being loud or disruptive\, we want them with us no matter what)\nIf you would like to be baptized\, let us know! \nWe will be providing chairs. No need to worry about bringing a folding chair. We will have the whole lawn covered in seating for you.\nWe will be providing a hotdog lunch. If hotdogs aren’t your thing\, feel free to bring a picnic lunch.\n\nWe look forward to spending Family Sunday with you! \n
