DESCRIPTION:Calling all volunteers! \nWe will be holding a volunteer training meeting on Sunday\, February 23\, for all volunteers who serve with minors. This includes Kids’ ministry\, the Armory\, and High school ministry. \nThis training meeting will help you understand our new check-in system\, which we will be implementing soon in the kids’ lobbies as well as in the classrooms. Deal. This book covers ways to navigate issues by providing practical and realistic solutions to challenges that come with being a blended family. \nThe first meeting will be on Sunday\, February 16\, from 10:30 am to noon in the High School Multi-purpose Room\, and will meet weekly until April 20. The cost for materials is $25 per person. \nMike Wells is the leader for the group\, and you are welcome to contact him with any questions. \nIf you have children needing childcare\, please plan to place them in a Kids’ Ministry class while you attend this group with your spouse.

DESCRIPTION:Join a space made for men and women going through loss to find support and healing. \nGriefShare is a safe\, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group\, you’ll discover what to expect and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat\, orderly stages of grief\, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief\, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support. \nThis 13-week group will begin on Sunday\, January 12\, at 1:00 pm and meet through Sunday\, April 6\, here at Crossroads Church. The cost is $20 for your workbook\, however\, if you are in need of a scholarship\, please call the church office at 530-268-2539. \nIn this Christ-centered class\, there will be a 30-minute video featuring respected experts on grief-related topics and helpful stories from people who have experienced loss. DESCRIPTION:Women of Crossroads and surrounding communities are invited to a verse-by-verse Bible study through the book of Revelation. They will resume meeting and studying on January 7. \nIf you are signing up after the original start in September\, you will need to purchase your own book. You can do that here. \nDetails: \nRevelation – Eternal King\, Everlasting Kingdom \nPerhaps no other book of the Bible feels as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that can confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable\, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible! \nIn this September through April verse-by-verse Bible study\, author Jen Wilkin will help us discover how the last book of the Bible – the culmination of God’s great story – speaks a steadying word of assurance and hope. We need this and we can do this together! \nThe cost to attend the study and for the study book\, including video access\, is $30. This book will last you all through the Bible study season.
