Deal. This book covers ways to navigate issues by providing practical and realistic solutions to challenges that come with being a blended family. \nThe first meeting will be on Sunday\, February 16\, from 10:30 am to noon in the High School Multi-purpose Room\, and will meet weekly until April 20. DESCRIPTION:Join a space made for men and women going through loss to find support and healing. \nGriefShare is a safe\, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group\, you’ll discover what to expect and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat\, orderly stages of grief\, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief\, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support. \nThis 13-week group will begin on Sunday\, January 12\, at 1:00 pm and meet through Sunday\, April 6\, here at Crossroads Church. DESCRIPTION:Women of Crossroads and surrounding communities are invited to a verse-by-verse Bible study through the book of Revelation. They will resume meeting and studying on January 7. \nIf you are signing up after the original start in September\, you will need to purchase your own book. You can do that here. \nDetails: \nRevelation – Eternal King\, Everlasting Kingdom \nPerhaps no other book of the Bible feels as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that can confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable\, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible! \nIn this September through April verse-by-verse Bible study\, author Jen Wilkin will help us discover how the last book of the Bible – the culmination of God’s great story – speaks a steadying word of assurance and hope. We need this and we can do this together! \nThe cost to attend the study and for the study book\, including video access\, is $30. This book will last you all through the Bible study season. DESCRIPTION:You can help a family in need by providing a holiday food basket! \nEach basket should contain the items listed below (which will also be sent to you in a confirmation message). Feel free to include extras and embellish your basket. Get creative! Just make sure all additional items are non-perishable and do not require refrigeration. Here are some ideas: tea towels\, candles\, new whisks or kitchen utensils\, a personal card with a note\, etc. \nBaskets should be sufficient to feed a family of 5-6 people. \nThanksgiving Baskets\nThanksgiving baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday\, November 17. \nChristmas Baskets\nChristmas baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday\, December 15. \nShopping List \n\nA $50+ gift card/certificate from a local grocery store to purchase a turkey\, ham\, or fresh vegetables\nFoil roasting pan\nSeasoned stuffing mix\nTwo cans of chicken broth\nOnions and celery\nMashed potatoes or canned sweet potatoes\nGravy mix\nTwo canned vegetables\nTwo cans of cranberry sauce\nOlives or pickles\nDinner rolls\nJell-O\nCanned fruit\nPie or pie crust and filling\n\nWe highly recommend making this a fun basket. You are welcome to decorate them or add other non-perishable items. Feel free to get creative!

DESCRIPTION:Sign-ups are officially closed! Thank you for your interest in serving! \nOur Fall Festival outreach is just around the corner\, and we would love to have your help! This is a fun and safe event for the whole community to enjoy on Saturday\, October 26\, 5:30 – 8 pm. Take a minute to read through the areas of need\, and let us know where you’d like to lend a hand. \nWe also need candy donations! You can drop off bags of individually wrapped candies in the church office or in the bins around campus on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or during the week from Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. \nPre-Event: \n\nJoin a prep day (decorating\, paper prep\, etc.): 10/23\nPrepping materials at home\nBake refreshments (cookies\, cupcakes\, brownies\, etc.)\nProvide a cake for the cakewalk\nAssist with booth assembly (requires heavy lifting): 10/20\n\nDuring Event: (90-minute shifts) This is an area of great need! \n\nGreeter\nParking/security (both men and women)\nServe refreshments\nBounce house attendant\nGame booth workers\nTreat Street\nVolunteer to work both shifts in any position for the whole event\n\nAfter Event: (October 26) \n\nAssist with tear-down/clean up\nAssist with campus reset

SUMMARY:Women's Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:Women of Crossroads and surrounding communities are invited to a verse-by-verse Bible study through the book of Revelation\, beginning September 17. \n ***Please note you will need to purchase your own book after 9/18.*** \nWe will be taking a break in the study from November 12 – January 7. When we resume in January\, we will finish the study on March 25.  \nDetails: \nRevelation – Eternal King\, Everlasting Kingdom \nPerhaps no other book of the Bible feels as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that can confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable\, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible! \nIn this September through April verse-by-verse Bible study\, author Jen Wilkin will help us discover how the last book of the Bible – the culmination of God’s great story – speaks a steadying word of assurance and hope. We need this and we can do this together! \nThe cost to attend the study and for the study book\, including video access\, is $30. This book will last you all through the Bible study season. You will get your book on the first day of class. \nIf you need or can donate to a scholarship\, let us know! We don’t want anyone to miss out.
