November 16 - December 14
Share Event

You can help a family in need by providing a holiday food basket!
Every year, we come together as a church community to provide a special basket to those who need a little extra help during the Holiday season. See below for details!

Each basket should contain the items listed below (which will also be sent to you in a confirmation message). Feel free to include extras and embellish your basket. Get creative! Just make sure all additional items are non-perishable and do not require refrigeration. Here are some ideas: tea towels, candles, new whisks or kitchen utensils, a personal card with a note, etc.

Baskets should be sufficient to feed a family of 5-6 people.

Thanksgiving Baskets
Thanksgiving baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday, November 16.

Christmas Baskets
Christmas baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday, December 14.

Shopping List
This is a sample menu shopping list. Please use it as a base to create additions or substitutions where needed, keeping all items non-perishable.

  • A $50+ gift card/certificate from a local grocery store to purchase a turkey, ham, or fresh vegetables
  • Foil roasting pan
  • Seasoned stuffing mix
  • Two cans of chicken broth
  • Onions

  • Gravy mix
  • Two canned vegetables
  • Two cans of cranberry sauce
  • Olives or pickles

We highly recommend making this a fun basket. You are welcome to decorate them or add other non-perishable items. Feel free to get creative!
