Home Groups
Real Life Through Relationships
What to Expect
It can be tough to just show up at someone's house! Here are a few things that will help you get a sense of what it's going to be like.
Food & Drink
Some groups eat a full meal together before they meet, while others just have snacks. Either way, there will be refreshments.
Worship Time
15-20 minutes of worshipping God together, setting our minds on Him, practicing thankfulness and gratitude.
Bible Application
Dive into that week's section of scripture and discuss how it applies to daily living.
Prayer
Share your prayer requests, or just pray with a friend. Pray for someone else who needs it.
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.

Groups withSpecial Focus
When people get together on a regular basis to fellowship, discuss the Word of God, worship and wait on the Spirit, and pray, something happens within you and within that group of people that is really special.

Have a question about a home group?
Larry and I accepted Christ 30 years ago. For the most part, we have always been in a home fellowship group. It is the place where we ask questions and explore the truths of Scripture. Our home fellowship group is our Christian family where we live out our faith day to day and are accountable for how we live. We form deep and lifelong lasting friendships. It is the place where we pray together, counsel one another, and rejoice in answered prayers. Leading a home fellowship group keeps us centered on giving our time and energy to serving the Lord.

Home groups are a place for discipleship and accountability with leaders who welcome you with open arms. It’s a safe place to bring your struggles and grow your faith.

We have found hosting and facilitating a home group keeps us thinking about others more than ourselves. God has given us a group of people to serve. We feed them, teach them, fellowship and laugh with them. We have visited them in the hospital, helped them move, and attended baby showers. We have people to pray for, and most of all, people to love and share life with. All this is the blessing of hosting and facilitating a home group.

One of the guys in our group pointed out that parenting can feel lonely because there isn’t a lot of time to connect with people in the same life season. Being part of a home group allows for opportunities to be encouraged by other believers.
